ulreich, ziegler. ulreich was assigned to me. dont know if stuttgart buys another goali for #1 (ulreich is only 21). if not, i have both from stuttgart, so if ulreich gets injured i have the #2. hope ulreich stays #1; 2.ooo.ooo + 7oo.ooo = 2.7oo.ooo


defenders:
contento (got him assigned, thanks random number generator); i hope he will be the left defender for munich. played quite a few games last season, even in the champions league. don't know, but i hope he will make it (munich has alaba, lahm, braafheid and badstuber for the same position, badstuber usually playes central defender though and lahm right defender); 2.ooo.ooo

hyppiä best defender last season
link. quite old but experienced; also leverkusen will be top 5 this season, probably even champion with ballack and helmes, who knows, so he wont have it too hard i guess. i hope he wont get injured though 5.ooo.ooo

riether also a very good defender, plays for wolfsburg. will play for germany the first time in 4 days against denmark. was really cheap, 2.5 million but i paid 3.5oo.ooo

noveski was one of my initial 13 players too; plays for mainz 05. not the best, but a starter for his team. also quite old, but i think he will get ~70 points so its ok i guess; 1.9oo.ooo


midfield
i read midfielders and forwards get more points on average than defenders so i put most of my money here

van bommel yeah i know, he gets quite a few red cards, but i have the feeling under van gaal he plays much better than before. hope he is worth it, a kicker rating of 3.14 average is very good; 6.5oo.ooo

carlos eduardo noone bet on him so i took him. hoffenheim had quite a rough season, but even if the team doesnt play good he will make his points. lastseason 125 points link , so he is much much cheaper than özil or schweinsteiger in that aspect; 5.ooo.ooo

schwegler for reasons unknown to me only one player bet on him. i bet more so i got him. regarding the price/performance ratio unbeatable imho. plays for frankfurt; 2.5oo.ooo

gündogan up and coming player. plays currently for nürnberg. only 19 years young but will still probably be starter for his team. has a contract until 2013 but nürnberg will probably sell him after this season for 5-10 million. didnt get much points last season but i hope he makes a leap forward.2.8oo.ooo

benderplays for dortmund. also up and coming player. average rating of 3.00 last season (#4). will have it hard though making the first 11 since kehl comes back. dortmund really has a strong midfield this season, sahin kehl bender blazczykowski großkreutz kringe
with lewandoswki barrios as forwards and hummels subotic as defenders dortmund will probably be top3 this season. only right/left defender positions are not so good (owomoyela t.t)
hope bender makes the starter team.3.ooo.ooo

petsos dont kow much about him, kaiserlautern lent him from leverkusen. wont play probably, but he was assigned to me and i dont see why i should sell hm.5oo.ooo

this is the only player i bought because of personal preference. I dont know, i think he is a great player and he will hopefully be starter for hamburg besides van nistelroy. forwards are quite hard to get because a lot of them are really really expensive
barrios 7, müller 7.5, kießling 8, pizarro 6.5, raul 5(was bought for 9 though Oo), dzeko 9.5, olic 7, farfan 6.5m lewandowski 5(bought for 8)... from the top 10 transfers in our league 8 are forwards t.t

helmes
plays for leverkusen. will have a hard time playing since kießling and derdiyok showed exceptional performances last season. i think he is better than both of them though and that he will make it. had problems with his knee for most part of the last season but played quite a good preseason. 5.ooo.ooo

edu was assigned, plays for schalke. wanted to sell him first but then i saw he played a lot of preseason games. schalke sold kuranyi and got raul instead. i thought raul and farfan will play but magath plays a 4 3 1 2 system now with edu raul as forwads and farfan behind them it seems. will keep him cause he is cheap.1.5oo.ooo

cisse was assigned to me too (yeah i was pretty lucky); plays for freiburg as starter. guess he will make a few goals (same as idrissou last season who now plays for mönchengladbach) but I dont know if will let him play instead of one of the others. anyway, i will keep him so i can react to players not playing

system:should be obvious, since i got (hopefully) strong fowards i'll play 3-4-3

I was forced to get a lot of player from Wolfsburg since we played a modus that made all Players take 5 players from the last season into the new team. So, a lot of top players were already in teams and much of the others really expensive. So I decided to get several Wolfsburger which are for me one of several teams that are in a bulk fighting for the places and are equal strong.

hm comunio is subpar imho. i mean its nice being able to take players into the next season and stuff. but its too hard for new people joining an existing league

i like kicker managerspiel much better

@Dec: True, taking players to the new season makes a significant advantage. We had to 3 new players this season joining our league - I gave them extra money that worked kinda fine. We had 5 player, 9million and 13 new players traded by Comp. They got the starting modality: 15player I think 20Million + bonus cash.

@tris: I like your defense - still I would sell Hummels. He is damn strong but 7,5Mios are a lot of cash to advance your team.
Hum, in Midfield some additions would fit well? I mean sell Hummels = arrango + Schwegler and some money left for example.
With barrios you got a nice forward. I wanted Harnik as well, he played a really got preseason - sadly he was traded by comp to someone else at start^^
Okotje is for me a suresell... 1mio or sth and Nürnberg.. also they got Bun-ja-Kuh and behind him Schieber. How often will FCN play with 2 forwards? So for me there is not much space left for him. But maybe I am wrong

1. Bender doesnt seem to make the first 11 of Dortmund. Kehl Kagawa Großkreutz Götze Sahin Blazczykowski all seem to be better than him. Just sold him

2. Carlos Eduardo was sold by Hoffenheim t.t

So I had 8.ooo.ooo. Since there are 3, 4 players with a lot of money left I don't think I can get someone like Diego,and if I did I'd have to pay A LOT.

So, I got Arne Friedrich from Wolfsburg. Arguably the best defender at the WM. Price 5.ooo.ooo

Svensson from Mainz05. Played strong the first day Sold Russ for him, I think Contento and Riether will get me more points although Wolfsburg also has strengthened its defense so I dont know if Riether will play the whole season.

For Carlos Eduardo I got Hegeler from Nürnberg (was cheap, ~1,5 Million and got 12 points first day) and Ilicevic from St. Pauli (same, 2.5 Million or so)

uhm, well hard that Eduardo left the league, but do you thunk that Arne was a good trade? I mean he is injured now and operation will pass soon. So for me you cant count on him until oct or nov.

Also helmes is missing, too. So, if bayer keeps on winning I think Helmes will stay on backup posi for derd and kiessling, mentioning that heynkes said last season that he dont like switching players of a team scores.

Also for me the Sportclub from Breisgau is one of the for sure going to diviosn 2 - so maybe you should try to switch him at a good price?


Ah, well Diego will help your team for sure - I really look forward to see him in Buli. Also he should integrate well since josue and cicero are brazilian, too and he speaks already german - at least a bit^^
